Version control 2015-03-22

Stet.io is a repository for your images, as every image is stored under version control. What defines a version is up to you, save as many or as few as is best suited for your work. The only constraint is that the original is always the first version.

Version control explained

Version control is a record of a image's history and a backup in case things go wrong. It is often done manually by saving each new version of the image as a different file e.g. photo_v1, photo_v2 or by saving only the previous version and the current one e.g. photo_old and photo. The version control on stet.io does this automatically and additionally stores the parent of each version.
